6-7 June: Children’s Archaeological Dig at Whyteleafe Park, Hillbury Road, as part of the Caterham Festival. From 10am till 4pm. Everyone’s favourite metal detectorist will be there as usual with all the right permissions in place. Thanks to Surrey Archaeological Society and Caterham Rotary for their support.
Sunday 7th June AM: Waller Pain (cycling speed trial) 9.30am till 12.30pm.
The Museum supports this event with access to its facilities for all the participants and spectators. Enjoy watching cycling clubs from South London and the South East test their uphill speeds!
Saturday 13th June: Suffolk Puff Workshop
at the museum, 13:00 to 15:30, £8pp. All materials and refreshments included. Come and enjoy a creative afternoon learning the beautiful hand sewing technique of Suffolk Puffs Whether you’re a complete beginner or already love stitching, this workshop is the perfect chance to unwind, learn something new, and make a pretty handmade greetings card.
